How much technical knowledge do I need?
The idea behind Managed WordPress hosting from Surver is that you don't need any technical knowledge to set up, move, maintain, optimize and secure a new WordPress site.
New website - When you purchase a package from Surver, you get instant access to your WordPress environment. By default, we install LiteSpeed, the WP Astra theme and the Elementor Page Builder. So you can get started building your own design right away, or choose one of hundreds of free basic templates to get you started.
Existing website - If you already have a website, let us move it professionally and without downtime. Via the migration form you provide us with all the data and we will do the rest. After the migration we optimize your site so it loads as fast as possible for visitors. If desired, we will also move your DNS zones and e-mail accounts.
Updates - We keep your hosting package up-to-date, make backups and check for malware daily. If desired, you can also automate the WordPress, theme and plugin updates so that you don't have to worry about them. A backup is created automatically with each update, which you can restore immediately if something goes wrong.
Do you also offer email addresses with the packages?
Within each package you can create an unlimited number of email accounts, completely free of charge. Through our webmail you can quickly and easily answer emails from anywhere in the world. It is also possible to link to Apple mail or Outlook.
Can I also up- or downgrade my package?
You can upgrade or downscale your package at any time. Through your account at Surver, you can easily request the change yourself.
Do you also make backups?
For each package we make 4 daily backups, of your files, databases, mail accounts and DNS records. These backups are easily and quickly restored via cPanel, up to 180 days back.
What about contract duration and billing?
We believe in our services and do not tie you to long contracts. As you wish, you pay per month and can also cancel on a monthly basis.
When is my package active?
After placing your order and paying the invoice, you will immediately receive the login information for your package. If you have registered a new domain name, it will take on average 1 to 2 hours before all DNS servers worldwide forward the domain to your package at Surver.
