What is a cloud server?

A cloud server is a virtual server running on a cluster of several connected physical servers that are connected to the internet and answer requests from internet users. This way, your WordPress site or shop is visible on the internet.

Because of this setup of switched servers, both the reliability, performance and speed of a cloud server are higher than with a traditional VPS. This way, customers do not have to wait too long, which in turn is good for your conversion rate, page speed score and search engine ranking.
Of course, you pay monthly for the server and the amount of resources. Furthermore, with Surver you don't have to worry about security updates or maintenance of all operating software; we take care of that for you. During setup, we also make sure that LiteSpeed cache is set properly, that the firewall is configured correctly and that an SSL certificate is installed. Furthermore, we also provide periodic performance and uptime checks, in order to be able to react quickly when your site is underperforming.
Sure! Within our Managed Cloud environment, you have the option to scale up to 8 vCPU, 16GB of RAM and 400GB of storage. Should even this setup not suffice, we also offer packages within our Managed Performance Cloud environment where we can scale up to 32 dedicated CPUs, 64RAM and 5TB of storage.
With Surver, you choose whether to pay monthly, quarterly or annually. If you opt for monthly billing, you can cancel the service each month. However, we do apply a notice period of at least one month.

We take full responsibility for moving your WordPress website or WooCommerce shop. We migrate all files, databases and, if desired, your domain name or e-mail to the cloud safely and without downtime.

To make the migration completely flawless, we would like to receive access to your current hosting provider's customer account. From there, we can often request the necessary FTP data and the domain name's transfer code. You may also always send us the WordPress login details so that we don't have to reset the password after the migration.
