Price changes for some services

Dear customer,

As with many other companies, rising costs are having a very big impact on operations. This year, we see the biggest increase ever on the purchase prices of energy, hardware and licences. The very unfavourable Dollar/Euro exchange rate also plays a big role.

Unfortunately, we at Surver are also forced to pass these increases on to our customers in the coming year. For all existing hosting services, we will therefore proceed with a limited price increase of between 8 a 10%. These will take effect on renewals made on or after 1 February 2023. Incidentally, this increase only applies to services billed monthly, quarterly or 6-monthly. For annual subscriptions, we will still apply the existing rate.

We are aware that these changes will have consequences for your projects and/or customers, which is why we would like to inform you as soon as possible. We are very grateful for our cooperation and, as you have come to expect from us, we will continue to do our best to help you quickly and competently with WordPress, hosting, e-mail and domain registrations.

If you have any questions following this post, please send an email directly to support@surver.nl.

In any case, we are already looking forward to a successful and beautiful cooperation in 2023!

Sincerely,
Team Surver

.com - €17.50

Frequently asked questions

As of when does the change take effect?
The prices for new customers were introduced on 1 November 2022. For our existing customers, the new prices will become active on or after 1 February 2023, but only when a renewal is due for the relevant service. If you have paid for a service in advance until, say, 30 June 2023, you will not receive an invoice with the new tariff until 1 July 2023.

I recently became a customer, what about for me?
All services ordered after 1 November 2022 are already active under the new prices.

For which services will prices be adjusted?
The new prices apply to all hosting-related services; WordPress hosting, WooCommerce hosting, Managed WordPress hosting, Managed WooCommerce hosting and the Reseller WordPress hosting packages. Prices for Managed (Performance) Cloud servers remain unchanged.

Prices for registering or transferring most domain names will also remain unchanged. However, we will change the registration fee for our customers who have previously purchased a domain at a discounted rate.

Can I renew my subscription for one year to take advantage of the discounted rate?
Yes, that is definitely possible! Please send an e-mail to support@surver.nl.

What about existing services?
If you have prepaid services up to a certain period, nothing changes. The new price only becomes active when you renew the service. For example, if you purchased or renewed a WordPress hosting package for 6 months on 1 October 2022, the new price will only become active when you renew this service on 1 April 2023.

Should you wish to take advantage of the discounted rate, it is also possible to renew your subscription for 12 months. Please send an e-mail to support@surver.nl.

Where does the price increase come from?
Mainly from the large increase in energy costs, price increases for both hardware and software from our suppliers as well as the very unfavourable Dollar/Euro exchange rate. The latter applies to the many licences (e.g. cPanel, LiteSpeed, Imunify, SpamExperts, CloudLinux, etc) in use for our infrastructure, which are mostly paid in Dollars.
